    Construction

Concrete curing consists of maintaining the humidity of the mixture to avoid evaporation of the water needed to maintain the water and cement ratio and completion of the chemical reaction of hardening.

This can be achieved in several ways, either by moistening the surface periodically so that it is the water added that evaporates and not that of the mixture, or by placing barriers to prevent the evaporated water from seeping out of the mixture, helping the concrete to retain its own moisture.

Gresalla Química offers different paraffin wax emulsions, which after application, when dried, form a colourless and continuous film that acts as a barrier against moisture loss, ensuring a more efficient hydration of the cement, improving durability and reducing shrinkage.
